Mainetti Launches New Wood Display Hangers Collection, Bringing Sixty-Five Years Of Craftmanship To Premium Retail

New Jersey, USA, October 19th, 2026 – Mainetti has launched its new Wood Display Hangers collection, bringing together its full range of wooden hangers and customization options in a single resource for retailers and brands.

The range reflects more than six decades of leadership in wooden hangers. What began in 1961 as a family workshop in Italy has grown into the world’s largest supplier of hangers and packaging solutions, with 6,000 people across 90 locations on six continents.

In Mainetti’s 65th year, the collection showcases the evolution of our design expertise, manufacturing capabilities and craftsmanship that have kept customers with the company for generations.

From signature luxury collections to fully bespoke designs, the collection is built to help brands find the right hanger for every environment, while meeting the sourcing and sustainability standards expected by the modern retailer.

A Range for Every Category

At the heart of the collection is the Atelier Signature Collection, Mainetti’s premium range of coat, jacket, shirt, trouser and clip hangers. Crafted from sustainable, FSC®-certified birch wood that is compliant with the European Union’s Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), the collection is designed to elevate retail displays and create a luxury shopping experience.

Beyond Atelier, the collection presents dedicated ranges built around the garment. The Tops range preserves the line of shirts, blouses, jackets and coats, with contoured profiles for tailoring and broader shoulders for outerwear. The Bottoms range combines sturdy trouser bars with secure clips to prevent creases and maintain garment shape, while the Kids range scales the same polished, high-end look to children’s collections, helping retailers best utilize their rack space.

The Laminated range treats the hanger as a brand canvas. Engineered by bonding thin layers of wood, laminated construction allows brands to tailor silhouettes, finishes and configurations for a sleek, uniform look across stores.

Designed Around the Brand

Customization runs throughout the range with brands able to choose from a range of wood species – including ash, beech, oak, eucalyptus and bamboo – each selected for grain, durability and finish quality, with many available FSC®- certified and traceable from forest to factory.

Brands are also able to choose a range of finishes – from natural and washed tones through oil stains and piano gloss to flocked and rubberized effects, while hardware for hooks, clips and bars is available in metal finishes from stainless steel and polished chrome to brass. Functional details, including trouser bars, locking bars, notches for strappy garments and nonslip treatments, can be specified to suit each category.

The wood hanger is a premium branding opportunity. A hanger neck is a brand’s most visible surface and can be personalized through techniques including laser engraving, medallions, hot foil and pad printing. For items that ask more of a hanger, Mainetti also develops fully customizable designs on the wooden cores, from padded and fabric-wrapped constructions for delicate and formal pieces to dedicated designs for lingerie and intimates.

Beyond Wood

Recognizing that not every category is best served by wood, the collection also introduces Mainetti’s display hangers in paper, metal, acrylic and lightweight recycled materials – engineered to the same standards of fit, finish and durability as the wooden range. Responsibility in Sourcing and Production

The range is underpinned by Mainetti’s Full Circle sustainability initiative, built on the two pillars of decarbonization and the circular economy. Mainetti is FSC®-certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, a member of both Sedex and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and adheres to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Recycled Claim Standard (RCS).

Responsibility extends into production itself. Mainetti’s factories are equipped with advanced dust extraction systems to protect both people and the surrounding environments, and wooden waste generated during manufacturing is recovered and recycled back into production where possible. Each hanger is also tested to simulate the full retail journey, from vendor handling to in-store interaction, using proprietary equipment and global testing hubs.
